IT Programme Coordinator - Cambridge - 12-month contract

IT Programme Coordinator required to join an international computer technology company, providing IT infrastructure services at their site in Cambridge on a 12-month contract.

The role:

The IT Programme Coordinator will be a key member of the Infrastructure Services Team within Arm, working closely with Programme and Project Managers for the 2019 IT Transformation Programme. You will report to the Programme Manager of the Transformation programme, helping to lead the delivery of a range of IT infrastructure projects. You will be delivering improved technology services to Arm globally.

Responsibilities:

* To compile, consolidate and track project data and metrics.

* Report on programme performance, assisting with RAG reporting.

* To support the programme governance process as required.

* Track all risks and planned remediation actions.

* Arrange and track all governance and project meetings.

* Maintain programme artefacts as required.

* Provide oversight of risk management processes.

* Minimal travel may be required to work across Arm.

Essential skills:

* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

* Experience of project teams in a rapidly changing development environment.

* Understanding of extracting, analysing, summary and reporting metrics.

* A deep understanding of the concepts of risk management.

* The ability to build and lead partners through personal leadership and clear project goals.

* Skilled communication with and understanding of highly skilled engineering teams.

Desirable skills:

* Ideally be proficient with MS Office tools.

* Familiarity with project processes / tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira.

* Comfortable with configuration methods, versioning and documentation tools.

* Knowledge of hardware and software development lifecycles (waterfall, iterative, agile).

* To be self-motivated, looking to accept new challenges.

* A professional attitude, with strong attention to detail.

* Dedicated and pragmatic problem solver.

* A degree in a technical field or similar will be considered, especially if supported by commercial experience.
