Field Service Engineer - Electro-Mechanical
Field Based in Central Scotland (covering all of Scotland)
£23,000 - £27,000 Plus Company Car, Overtime, Private Medical 

Providing unique and advanced solutions for cash management, our client seeks to make cash handling simplistic and financially sound. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join their team, working throughout Scotland. 

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing and installing a wide variety of cash handling equipment out in the field.  

Ideally you will have worked on electro-mechanical equipment and be comfortable using a computer to interface with the machinery, primarily for fault-finding and software updates. 

Working across Scotland, as a Field Service Engineer, you'll undertake repairs and maintenance and make sure that customers receive the levels of service they have come to expect, or ideally even better levels of service.

Of equal importance is the ability to deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building up long term relationships with people on the sites that you will be looking after and providing them with the excellent levels of care they have come to expect.  

Your normal hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. There will also be a requirement to provide out of hours standby cover on a rota basis.

You will be responsible for your own area and as part of a wider team, led by a Senior Engineer will deliver first class support to your customers.

To be considered as a Field Service Engineer, you'll need:  

- A number of years' experience of repairing electro-mechanical equipment 
- Knowledge of the use of basic tools and test equipment 
- A good level of IT literacy 
- A C&G or higher technical certification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline 
- A full driving licence
