Project Manager | £35,000- £50,000 | Leeds City Centre

I am working in partnership with an award-winning IT consultancy based in Leeds who are eager to expand their Project Management team to work on their banking and payments related projects. Despite the small size of this company, you will be involved in some large-scale projects for their Enterprise clients with an overall target of delivering outcomes.

You'd be joining a talented group of individuals and be responsible for managing the delivery of projects encompassing both business and technical aspects of the solution. Implementing Agile and Lean methodologies, you will be leading the team in creating the foundations of the project from end to end.

In terms of the specific knowledge, experience in the following is preferred:

Knowledge of Agile methodologies You know how to plan and manage an Agile project and you understand the principles of iterative delivery and the continued validation of the customer's value proposition. You will work closely with Agile practitioners to ensure that Answer project delivery process evolves and improves with every project.

Interest in Technology They deliver innovative, technically challenging solutions for our customers. You should be enthusiastic about technology and be able to manage and converse with a technical team so as you are able to understand the technical approach, challenges and risks

Experience of Payments and Banking sector You are familiar with the banking and payments environment and have previously worked at a major bank/payments organisation. At a high level, you are familiar with how payments work, commercial/retail banking, banking systems, banking and payments operations.
