Junior SQL Developer - Manchester - £30k

My client are in the finance industry and are seeking an Junior SQL Developer to maintain and develop existing and new client databases. My client are currently using SQL Server but have plans and a strong pipeline to migrate to Azure.

Working as a SQL Developer you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies such as SQL Server, and the full Microsoft BI Stack. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge by working alongside some of the industries finest developers and analysts as well as an opportunity to complete training courses and certifications. You will be provided with a structure and platform from which you can develop your skills and progress within the company.

This is a permanent position paying an annual salary up to £30,000. Other benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, competitive pension, generous bonus scheme, flexible working and many more. My client understands more so than any other that their employees are key to their success.

Key Skills:

* Experience with the latest versions of MS SQL Server

* Experience using T-SQL creating functions, stored precedures, views, triggers and indexes.

* Experience developing SSIS ETL packages

Desirable Skills:

* Reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI or Tableau

* SSAS

* Azure PaaS offerings - Data Factory, Data Lake

* Coding languages such as C#, Java, VBA or Python
