Senior Java Developer - Foreign Exchange Start-up

Salary up to £80K + Bonus + Benefits

Senior Java Developer (Java, Docker, Python) - A rapidly growing FinTech start-up is disrupting the foreign exchange market with a globally distributed broker neutral trading platform that consumes billions of messages a day. The system has direct connectivity to all major banks processing information in real time. You, as the Senior Java Developer, will enjoy autonomous hands on development building large complex cloud integrated services.

As the Senior Java Developer, you will:

* Primarily develop in Java but the project demands adaptability and creative problem solving where you will be encouraged to work with all tools at your disposal, whether that's Golang, Rust or Python.

* Work with the latest in cutting edge container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

* Minimise defects using paired programming, practicing TDD and BDD and continuous integration.

The Senior Java Developer will be leading small teams and mentoring mid-level developers, regularly presenting progress. Engineers are backed by dedicated two tier support automation teams, so you can focus purely on development.
