Android Developer - Hereford (Remote working options available) - Contract

Type: 3-6 Month Contract Rate: £400-£500 per day dependent on experience Location: Hereford (Remote) Start Date: April 2019

Computer Futures are seeking an experienced Android Developer for an initial 3-6 month contract for a key client of ours based in Hereford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Android Developer to join a dynamic team. The candidate in question must have excellent technical skills to develop, deploy, maintain and optimise the businesses Android applications.

Key Skills:

* Knowledge of OOP (Java) and Android SDK

* Experience of JNI with C libraries

* Working in Agile development team

* Experience with REST-APIs integration

* Strong problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills:

* Staying up to date with the latest Android innovations

* Understanding of problems in low connectivity situations

* Knowledge of mobile landscape, architectures and emerging technologies

* Code analysis along with a taste for good code quality

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code

* Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

* Peer-review code and assist with problem solving at a team level
