Software Engineer - Manchester (North West Region) - £30,000 - £60,000

I am teaming up with one of our long term clients to seek talented individuals to be based in the offices of Manchester in the North West Region of the UK. They are a tech company masked as an e-commerce company, rather than just a non-tech company with an IT department tacked on the side, with their software engineering function being a crucial part of their journey. They are looking for Software Engineers from junior to senior position (depending on experience). Candidates must have commercial experience in Java.

Candidates should have skills in:

Proficient with the use of Java or PHP

o Good understanding of web services and REST based APIs using JSON and XML

o Good understanding of database technologies such as My SQL, SQL Server

o Understanding of domain driven design

o Understanding of SOA

o Understanding of ORM technologies such as Hibernate

o Proficient with HTML 5, AJAX, Bootstrapping, XHTML, HTTP, JQuery, JSON and XML

o Good understanding of styling and applying design to web pages using CSS

o Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js, React.js and Angular.js

o Proficient with the use of JSP and Java

o Experience of using Spring/Struts
