Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft Windows MCSE CISSP CCNP ITIL). Leading UK technology services provider that specialise in finance markets is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to head up the Infrastructure Services team.

The team is responsible for service patching, incident resolution, small projects, security response, acceptance into service, technology upgrades, problem management, datacentre operations, automation and efficiency improvements, technical mentoring, presales input, small client projects and more. As the Lead Infrastructure Engineer you'll be responsible for ensuring BAU including managing the team encompassing performance reviews, target setting and developing individuals through mentoring. You'll remain hands-on and have oversight of complex technical issues, technically leading major incidents through to resolution.

Requirements:

*Strong technical background with a broad range of knowledge, the tech stack is based on Windows, VMWare, Cisco Networking, PowerShell, SQL, Cyber Security

*Experienced people manager, able to nurture up and coming technologists and manage more seasoned professionals

*Calm and methodical approach to problem solving

*You foster a culture of best practice, process, compliance and continuous improvement

*Industry standard qualifications such as MCSE, CISSP, CCNP, ITIL, VCP, degree

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
