This established, British Equine Organisation, Charity and Education Centre with a rich history are seeking a professional, challenge orientated and focused 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer to impact and assist taking their IT Infrastructure and Systems Technology toward the Cloud.

This role is pivotal and challenging, diverse and rewarding and will offer you an opportunity to grow technically as the breadth of in-house technology and pipelined projects are substantial.

As the 3rd Line Systems Engineer you will be tasked with leading the technical support and delivery of the IT strategy for all infrastructure including network, voice and server infrastructure, working with both technical and none technical IT staff and business colleagues.

You will be experienced in designing, building and supporting infrastructure including VMWare, Exchange, Office365, Meraki Wi-Fi, PowerShell scripting, Firewall configuration, routing and switching, HP SAN and Sophos anti-virus.

You will need proven experience of Data Centre, Systems, Network and Infrastructure operating systems, including system builds and upgrades, patching, releases and fault resolution.

This will require the person to have a deep understanding of several hardware and infrastructure technologies including:

* HP server and storage technology

* VMWare and backup technologies

* Telephony Systems

* HP and Cisco switching and routing technologies

* Sophos Firewall configuration, network monitoring

* Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy

* Azure, Office 365

* WAN technologies, systems architecture

* SQL databases

* PowerShell scripting and web development.
