Senior C# Developer (.Net WCF WPF C++ Windows Embedded Systems Real-time). Exciting opportunity for an experienced developer with exceptional technical skills to take on a challenging role within a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering team. You'll be working in a highly collaborative environment within a company that provides perks such as flexible working (option to work remotely up to 2 days per week), coding events and an on-site restaurant and gym.

As a Senior C# Developer you'll be joining the Performance Team who are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data heavy, real-time systems and toolsets used to understand and develop the performance of racing cars. Your focus will be to assess the current systems in place and re-engineer more modern solutions and features to create a more consistent and scalable platform. You'll take the lead on high value projects and make technical decisions to help define and develop the next generation of software infrastructure for the Performance Team.

You'll be based in modern offices in the Northampton area (easily commutable from Oxford, Reading and Milton Keynes) with plenty of parking available. This is an excellent chance for you to showcase your technical ability within a fast paced, challenging and highly rewarding environment.

Requirements:

*Exceptional technical skills utilising C#, .Net, WCF and WPF

*You'll likely have a C / C++ and / or embedded systems background

*Experience working on large scale complex distributed systems

*Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns

*Good database knowledge

*Experience working across the full software development lifecycle

*Interest in solving real-time data problems

*You enjoy coding in own time, working on personal projects and have a passion for technology

*Ideally you'll have an interest in formula 1 and racing cars
