Senior Tester

ShortList Recruitment are on the lookout for a Senior Tester to join a fantastic market-leading client based in Wilmslow.

The Senior Tester needs be enthusiastic and dynamic, have a passion for IT, and be willing to work their way up with a progressive company who are market-leaders in the leisure and travel industry.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Tester:

* Reviewing and analysing system specifications

* Script and implement manual tests.

* To complete testing in line with agreed timeframes and by following the documented business processes using the appropriate test management and automation tools

* Reporting and documenting bugs and errors

* Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans

* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

* Continually update skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role

The Senior Tester will have all or some of the following:

* Experience as a QA tester or similar role

* Experience of Bug Tracking tools

* Experience of all kinds of manual testing such as- Functional, Regression, User Acceptance etc.

* Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

* Attention to detail

* Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

* Good communication and organisational skills

* Experience in agile delivery environment

* Able to use own initiative

* Ability to work under pressure

In exchange, our client are offering flexible working hours, a salary of up to £30000 dependant on experience, and a full progression plan, with the chance to move into new areas of software testing including automation.
