IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Abingdon - 6 Months
An IT Infrastructure Project Manager is required to join a technology based company, located in Abingdon on a 6-month initial contract to start as soon as possible.
The role does include remote working, but candidate must be flexible to travel to site.
You will lead the client's programme of work and deliver Windows Server and Client upgrades to their customers across 500+ sites in the UK.
As a senior level project manager, we require the successful candidate to be able to oversee large scale technical projects with evidence of successful turnarounds.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Producing and leading delivery strategies for large scale projects
* Being able to scope the deliverable and time-lines
* Identifying, managing and reducing risk for the business
* Governing a complete project life-cycle
* Driving meetings with senior stakeholders, customer and suppliers.
Essential Skills:
* Recent experience on large scale IT Microsoft Infrastructure projects. This includes server and desktop
* Prince 2 /MSP Certified
* Degree in STEM / IT discipline or equivalent
* Good organisational skills with the ability to deliver plans to enable the timely delivery of projects
* Experience in managing programmes >£5M
* Excellent communication, influential and collaboration skills.

* ITIL Knowledge
