An excellent opportunity has arisen in central Birmingham for a dynamic & proactive Change & Configuration Management Analyst to join a newly formed IT team.

The role will require a highly skilled individual to be the day to day lead on the change management process, making sure requests are completed to a high quality and delivered on time.

Your duties will be varied and will include, as well as the standard change & configuration management activities, the liaison with internal & external stakeholders (up to senior level) therefore, excellent communication & negotiation skills are a must.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the aforementioned capabilities as well as the following knowledge, skills & experience:

* Significant experience within a customer facing IT service delivery/service management environment

* Knowledge of Industry and Professional Standards, with relevant ITIL experience (ITIL Foundation certification required)

* Experience in configuration, change, release and problem management

* Proven ability to act on own initiative and work unsupervised

* Ability to solve problems, creatively and effectively

* Ability to make complex processes, procedures and concepts simple

* Good understanding of Release Management responsibilities and how this is closely linked with Change & Configuration Management.

* Experience of working with complex multi system, multi-site environment

* The ability to work well under pressure in a very challenging environment comprising of tight timescales and multiple work streams is essential

* Working knowledge of ServiceNow (or similar ITSM toolset)

* Aware of the purpose and composition of a service level agreement (SLA), the relationship between an SLA and a contract for the supply of services
