Skills & Knowledge Required

*Extensive experience of Healthcare systems implementation experience from requirements, testing, implementation and support services

*Extensive NHS experience or other health or public sector

*Experience in gaining consensus for proposed solutions from a variety of business and stakeholders in the business

*Experience of Healthcare EPR systems/applications including EPR Application, integration and interface including different application and technical elements of the EPR

*Experience of SharePoint skills, including management of groups and users, and document management features

*Experience of Microsoft SQL skills

*Verify the accuracy, currency, completeness, and relevance of information used during problem management activities

*Use and apply:

oInformation about problems from a range of internal and external sources in order to identify and diagnose problems

oAppropriate expertise from internal and external sources to advise and guide on the resolution of problems

*Record and store change requests for long term resolutions to problems

*Manage the resolution of problems

*Take action/measures to:

oClose as many problems as possible via the identification and implementation of long term resolutions/fixes

oReclassify/reprioritise incoming problems, where appropriate, after review in order to focus attention on those problems which if resolved would provide maximum benefit to the organisation

oTrack the progress of change requests for long term resolutions/fixes to problems

*Provide change request information about what is required for the long term resolution of problems

*High level analytical and evaluative skills relating to business process engineering

*Able to produce own reports in a logical and structured way and to a high standard of presentation

*Good presentation skills

*Able to translate reports and statistical analysis into information that is meaningful for the business area

*Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

*Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

*Ability to manage own work and prioritise workload

*Ability to understand how own role and duties relate to broader strategic issues

*Understanding of NHS Organisation and activity currencies

*Understanding of ITIL methodologies and techniques

*Active listening skills and excellent written and verbal communications skills

*Ability to lead people with vision integrity, demonstrating the courage to do the right thing

*Works across boundaries, looks for collective success, listens, involves, respects and learns from the contribution of others
