About the role:

Daily server monitoring checks

Troubleshoots server issues and incidents

Maintains server operation guides (user guides)

Registers server problems

Context: Windows (90%) and Linux server, virtualisation, Exchange, Datacentre, monitoring, patching, endpoint security, server security, network security,  worldwide WAN.

REQUIRED SKILLS

1Y of  experience as a system analyst or system administrator

Secondary school (12 years education) diploma/certificate of completion is required

ITIL v.3 Foundation certification needs to be obtained, at the latest, 3 months after the start date

Security clearance ‘SECRET EU' or national equivalent, issued by an EU member state must be obtained within one year.

Good command of Windows Server administration (2003- 2016)

Good command of Windows Active Directory and Group Policies administration.

Understanding of PowerShell Scripting (Patching, Security, packages, antivirus)

Understanding of the basic network principles (routing, switching,  VLAN, firewall, protocol)

Understanding of Linux principles (basic command, basic configuration ...)

Microsoft Office products (Office 2010/2016).

Windows configuration & troubleshooting (registry, configuration files ...).

Good listener

Ability to write technical documents in English

Professional communication

Fluent (C1/C2) in either English or French.

Independent user (B1/B2) in the other language (English or French).

CERTIFICATIONS At least one (or to be obtained within the first 3 months)

Microsoft Server Infrastructure Certifications (MCSE)

Linux RedHAT (RHCSA, RHCE, RHCJD, RHCJA)

Data centre Virtualisation:

VMWare 5/6 (VCA, VCP,VCAP, VCDX)

Hyper-V (MCITP)

Storage :

NetAPP (NCSA,NCDA,NCIE)

Backup :

BackupExec, SnapProtect
