Technical Support Engineer / Application Support (Windows Linux Web Virtualisation Networking). Cyber Security software house is seeking a Technical Support Engineer with excellent customer service skills and good technical knowhow.

As a Technical Support Engineer you will gain an indepth understanding of the product and play a key role in assisting customers with deployment, integration and usage of the flagship Cyber Security product; handling a variety of support calls and logging issues through to diagnosing and proposing solutions. You'll represent the customer and help them to be able to diagnose their own issues as well as partnering with third parties and pro-actively providing customer knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

*Experience as an Application Support Engineer

*Good technical knowledge including Linux OS (Windows / cross-platform experience desirable), Web Browsers, HTML, SSL, SSO, Virtualisation, Logging / SIEM environments (e.g. Splunk), network diagnosis tools (e.g. Wireshark)

*Comfortable working with varying levels of customers and their 3rd party providers' technical staff

*Experienced working with internal engineering groups to diagnose and push toward a solution

*Excellent communication skills; proactive and keen to learn
