A degree that's 100% free? It sounds too good to be true. But at Capgemini, we believe in nurturing tomorrow's talent. That's why, if you successfully apply for one of our Digital & Technology Degree Apprenticeships, you can really enjoy the best of both worlds: a job at a world-renowned company and the chance to study at a prestigious uni.
You'll be on the course part-time at Aston University, but have a regular full-time job, where you can put your learning into practice while earning a competitive salary. At the end of the four-and-a-half year course, you'll graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions.
We look for people who are flexible and willing to travel to different offices and client sites after the first three months. You'll spend the initial nine weeks on a residential induction and training programme at our Telford site and then at university.
What roles will you take on?
We have a number of different opportunities based across the UK. These include Software Developer, Software Test Consultant and Technical Consultant. After you've passed a digital assessment, we'll be able to find a role to match your background and location.
At Capgemini we often say that we're the biggest company you've never heard of. We are one of the world's largest tech companies, helping our clients to transform their businesses through ingenious technology solutions. We deliver exciting ad innovative client projects across multiple industries all over the world using cutting- edge technology in an entrepreneurial and supportive environment.
We expect you to demonstrate a passion for technology, strong analytical skills and the ability to work as part of a team. You'll also be a good communicator who gets on well with others. In terms of academic success, we consider people with seven A*-C GCSEs (including Maths and English at 4-9) and three A*-C A-level passes or 96 UCAS points, although it's important to note that AS-levels are not included in the calculation. Alternatively, you may have already completed an advanced apprenticeship or BTEC.
To apply, please click the button below and follow the instructions. If you are shortlisted, you'll be asked to complete an online Situational Strength Test to ascertain whether you're a good cultural fit for Capgemini.
If you're successful there, the next stage will be a digital interview which is a combination of written and video recorded questions. Next, you'll be invited to an assessment centre on-site, consisting of an interview, micro exercises and a group exercise. We will keep you updated at every stage of the process.
