Are you an experienced Design Manager looking to work for a market leading company where you will not only drive the design development but staff development as well?

On offer is a permanent position where you will be the head of this leading design department leading the development of new products inside an already established product range.

In this role you will be able to put your own stamp on the design department as you will be in charge of all staff hiring and staff development as well as liaising with blue chip clients inside the construction industry.

This is a well-established company with in excess of 300 staff. They are an industry leader in the manufacture and test of door/window furniture and locks.

Inside this role you will be heading up the design department developing products and staff on a daily basis. This company also have their own manufacturing and testing facility so you will be able to see all projects from cradle to grave.

This role would suit and experienced Design Manager / Director, you will have proven experience designing with a verity of production process and be able to demonstrate your ability to develop staff.

The Role:

* Management of the Design department

* Liaise with blue chip clients inside the construction industry

* Help develop the design department and the staff

* Experienced Design Manager / Director

* Proven experienced developing a design department / design staff

* Experienced with a verity of manufacturing processes (die casting / metal pressing / fabrication)
