Quality Manager

The Role As the Quality Manager, you will ensure quality initiatives are well embedded in the company culture. Working autonomously within a highly technical environment, your duties will involve: - Working to ISO 9001:2015 and EASA Part 21
- Developing and maintaining Supply Chain interfaces and performance
- Utilising quality tools including control plans, FAIRs, process flows, cost of quality, and internal and external audits
- Conducting root cause analysis utilising tools such as 5 Whys and 8D
- Completing targeted improvement activities
- Providing or facilitating company training needs
- Maintaining and updating QMS/DAS, KPI measures and reports
- Controlling the NCP and quarantine store About You To be considered you will need: - Experience of quality assurance and/or control
- Previous experience of delivering Quality Management Systems
- Experience of the manufacturing processes
- Previous experience of internal and external auditing
- Outstanding communication skills Ideally, you will have a Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering, but this isn't essential. Experience within an aerospace design and manufacturing environment would also be an advantage, as would experience of delivering training to employees. Previous COSHH, authority related to ‘Release to Service' and proven regulatory experience in an approved organisation would be equally favourable.
