This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients' team as a Senior Solutions Architect working on their Strategic Data Platform. The successful candidate will be tasked with building a new Platform. They are looking to enhance their Customer Service to; retain customers, increase customer engagement and customer insight in a Data driven way. You will join a small, close-knit team, you will be a great team player but also be ready to hit the ground running independently.

Hands on, demonstrable experience:

* Defining data architectures (including future vision) that deliver all platform aspects of one (or more) of Personalisation, Data Analytics and Reporting systems

* Data warehousing, data mart, and data lake technologies

* With managed Data Analytics offerings from Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.

* Working with multiple product streams through the entire lifecycle in an Agile environment

* Working with self-organising Agile software development teams

Mandatory Technical Skills include:

* Demonstrable experience of predictive modelling, NLP, text analysis, data mining and ETL tools

* Demonstrable experience of machine learning and data visualisation

* Demonstrable experience of defining and delivering solutions using Lambda and Kappa architectures

* Deep understanding of Apache Hadoop and tools such as HBase, HDFS, Spark, Hive, Solr and Kafka streaming

* Ability to anticipate business needs and translate them into technical solutions

* Ability to conceptualise and design platforms capable of supporting multiple systems or applications

* The ability to apply modelling techniques as needed to data, logical and physical architectures.

* Strong analysis and problem solving skills

* Good consultancy and influencing skills, working within strong technical environments

* Good written and verbal communication skills. Adept at translating complex technical concepts into meaningful recommendations

* Excellent planning and organisational skills
