Linux Support / Administrator - Dagenham, East London

£45K basic + benefits package inc on-call allowance and paid overtime

Working for one of the largest Print Bureau specialists supporting 500 physical & virtual Servers as a Linux Systems Supprt Analyst / Administrator to join there operation based out of Dagenham East London.

Key technical Skills (any of the following)

Windows, Linux OS

Linux Support & Administration

Storage Support & Administration

Virtualization

Desirable skills:

Cisco Switches & VLAN Administration

Cisco ASA Firewall Administration

Scripting skills

Bash

Puppet

Yaml

Understanding of Cyber Security

ITIL Foundation

The role:

Responsible for delivering IT infrastructure projects to the business.

The role will include Support of Servers, Firewalls, SANs, Content Delivery and other devices. The role will also be responsible for managing escalations from Second Line and to other parts of PCC Operations organisation or partners/vendors, to ensure the prompt and satisfactory resolution of Customer Support cases.

The role requires a good understanding of multiple operating systems including Windows; however any candidate must have strong Linux skills.
