Infrastructure Engineer - Team Leader - 50-55k

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer Team Lead to oversee and manage the day to day function of the team which consists of up to 8 x Analysts across multiple geographic locations. This will include resource planning, fault fix, request requirements and project coordination. This should be delivered to agreed standards and KPI's with regard to Infrastructure Systems and other technical solutions across the Group.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to be an experienced IT professional with a track record of leading a technical team in a medium to large sized business, have an understanding of IT management processes and have a solid track record of technical knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure Systems environments.

There is a chance to progress within this role as we have had 4 recent promotions into 'Team Lead' and 'Head Of' roles.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

* Operational management

* Management and remediation of the Infrastructure to agreed SLA / KPI's

* Overall responsibility for the Infrastructure Team

* Accountability for Remedy Queues, BAU and Project Workloads

* Overall responsibility for the monitoring, management and reporting of Storage infrastructure, VMware infrastructure, Backup infrastructure, management reports, Operational and Technical Documentation.

What else do I need to know?

* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.

* You will need to have experience of managing 10+ (large) team previously

* There will be occasional travel to other locations.
