Sap Senior Project Manager - Payroll/HR

Location: Coventry

We are actively looking to secure a Sap Senior Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Delivery of projects:

* Managing all stakeholders (Internal and external) through the executive level.

* Building, developing and motivating high performing project teams committed to achieving success by delivering the benefits of the project or programme

* Ensuring project outcomes and deliverables are at the required levels of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost

* Providing management control and direction to projects utilising project management skills, subject matter expertise and external parties as a resource profile.

* Leading a multi supplier eco system to resource and deliver project objectives

* Ensuring all interested parties are engaged and consulted with in a timely manner e.g. BDAG, TDAG, 3rd Parties, Security, and Service Delivery etc.

* Making use of the ETE Project Delivery Framework to ensure success

* Be aware of the overall pipeline of work identifying innovation and synergies between projects to make the solution delivery function improve its effectiveness

* Ensuring adherence to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle

* Utilising project management skills and knowledge to ensure unexpected complexities are effectively managed through stakeholder influence and management

* Management of issues, risks and project change requests with appropriate mitigating actions implemented

* Transitioning to Service Management, with the appropriate quality and support materials in place

Key Accountabilities:

* Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that may span one or multiple lines of business

* Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones

* Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment

* Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives

* Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities

* Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership

* Manage project scope and changes

* Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders

* Review the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services

* Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues

* Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders

* Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and program team, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas

* Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline

Essential knowledge / Skills:

Candidates must have 5 years experience using either of the following;

* Implementing SAP success factors - all modules

* Payroll Conversion to SAP

* Conversion of legacy to S4 Hana

* SAP BW reporting

* Cut over planning

* 3 - 5 years experience as a Project Manager in medium to large company, with significant delivery experience of IT projects (5 - 10 years)

* SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall

* Tools: MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; PPM (Clarity, Primavera, MS Project Online, etc.)

* Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Projects, ServiceNow, MySAP

Qualifications

* Recognised Project Delivery Qualification e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner

* Prince 2 or PMI or APMP
