Pre-Sales Network Consultant

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pre-Sales Network Consultant to join a fast growing, IT Value-Added Reseller based in Watford, Hertfordshire. As the Pre-Sales Network Consultant, you will be responsible for responding to requests from clients, ranging from small hardware replacements to complete tech refreshes, working with them to understand their aims and offering them the best solutions for their needs. This role will require you to understand customer requirements and put together solutions based on these requirements.

The successful Pre-Sales Network Consultant will sit within the Pre-Sales team and interact with a wide range of internal and external contacts, such as the solutions team, distribution, vendors and client-side stakeholders, and should boast a broad technical knowledge of networking products. Whilst they do work with a range of vendors, they predominantly supply technology from Cisco and HP so experience with products from these vendors is highly desirable.

Key Skills required for the Pre-Sales Network Consultant:

* Good knowledge and understanding of a range networking products - switches, routers, firewalls etc.

* Knowledge of offerings from different vendors, preferably Cisco and HP.

* A passion for technology with a desire to learn new products

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build relationships with varying contacts/stakeholders.

This Value-Added Reseller / VAR have over 2500 customers and have already highlighted hundreds of opportunities for you to grow sales within existing clients.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + commission + industry training for certifications + free parking + regular social activities (top golf, cinema, escape rooms, laser tag) - 9:00am - 5:30pm
