Workday Specialist

We have an opportunity for a Workday Specialist to join a leading tech blue-chip in a brand-new role, helping them with their ongoing adoption of Workday across the business. Sitting in the Enterprise Applications team, the Workday Specialist will assist with the deployment and, after go-live, act as the Technical SME or 'Super User' through provision of guidance and support on the functionality of the application. The successful Workday Specialist will also be a key resource for and work closely with the HR leadership team throughout the process, so it is imperative you are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.

Skills and experience required for the Workday Specialist:

* Proven experience with Workday HCM

* Recent systems experience in 2nd/3rd line support.

* Demonstrable knowledge of design, build, test and delivery of system developments and reporting.

* Proven experience of working with senior stakeholders.

As the Workday Specialist, you will:

* Provide 3rd line support for the Workday system.

* Help to create and maintain a source of knowledge around the system, such as training documents.

* Support the Business Applications Team in developing new and improving existing solutions to ensure they fit business needs.

* Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions across the business.

* Regularly report on any defects and identify root cause in order to provide resolutions.

* Identify and communicate functionality changes to business users.
