Cloud Software Engineer (AWS, Python)

We are seeking a Cloud Software Engineer, preferably with exposure to AWS or GCP environments and Python development to join a Cambridge technology team building 'extreme scale' AI and Machine Learning intelligence products and scaling their cloud infrastructure heavily.

As the Cloud Software Engineer you will work between the software engineering and technical solutions and sales teams to implement and deliver extreme scale and real-time cloud platforms for customers.

Preferably you will be an experienced Software Engineer (Python preferred language but flexible) who has moved towards cloud environments and would enjoy using a breadth of knowledge and being an interface for a range of internal and customer teams. Exposure to wider cloud and infrastructure as code tooling such as Terraform and Cloudformation would be beneficial.

You will not be required to work on client site, the role is based solely in the teams Cambridge office.

Skills required for the Cloud Software Engineer:

* Strong cloud knowledge, preferably AWS but open to GCP or Azure. Cloudformation knowledge would be beneficial

* Software engineering experience, preferably using Python but open to Java, Golang etc.

* Exposure to automation, Linux systems, infrastructure as code (Terraform) or wider DevOps tooling would be beneficial

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + share/equity options
