We are recruiting for a Business Analytics Analyst to join Business Operations based in our Warrington office. You'll be responsible for generating and distributing management reports, accurately and to a high standard, whilst adhering to Service Level Agreement's and the Quality Assurance Framework. You'll maintain existing management information systems, impact assessments and analysis to support the incident management process, prioritising reporting requests as well as managing and resolving incidents. Working closely with both internal and external customers to gather and understand requirements, you will design and develop new management and business information reports as well as provide statistical and analytical information for management. You'll work with customers to understand their problems and suggest appropriate solutions as well as attend cross functional meetings to support with the resolution of customer issues. You'll maintain and manage the production and performance of recurring reports in line with the agreed Service Level Agreements, participate in project meetings to advise and deliver reports and support other areas of the business by providing information during the Early Life Support phase. In addition, you'll look for improvements to reporting through supporting the with the research of analytical tools to automate and enhance the reporting, as well as develop and maintain documentation, share your skills through knowledge transfer, as well as monitoring and assurance for core MI processes. You are: Experienced using analytical tools such as Lavastorm Analytics, DataVerse, QlikSense and Power BI Experienced with Job Scheduler (Cron, Macro4, I-schedule, Automon) Able to design and build reports A positive self-starter with enthusiasm and able to work on your own initiative You have: Good mathematical skills Intermediate SQL Intermediate Query for IBMi IBMi Navigation and database knowledge Intermediate Excel skills such as Vlookups/Pivot tables Data storage and repository awareness Proven capability around incident analysis and problem solving Excellent time management skills, able to manage own workload and prioritisation is fundamental Good process review and documentation skills Good written and verbal communication skills Good understanding of Nimsoft capabilities and assurance monitoringYou may have: Experience of telecommunications and/or customer care/billing systems Your future at MDS Global When we say our people are our biggest asset, we mean it.
