Our Government client require an interim highly skilled specialist interaction designer to support our digital portfolio. This work is of immediate priority and supports key strands addressing EU Exit priorities and building national capacity for product safety.

You will work as part of the digital team

* Head of Digital

* UX Design lead

* Product Managers

* User Researchers

* Content Designers

* Business Analysts

* Developers

* QA Tester

* PMO lead

We are supplemented by external supplier delivery partners who provide delivery management, technical leadership, developers and UX design support.

The digital team require an interim highly skilled specialist interaction designer. This work is of immediate priority and supports developing digital services for EU Exit priorities and building national capacity for product safety.

We currently have a number of services in development which are designed to mitigate the loss of EU systems following EU Exit. Some of these directly serve the goal of building national capacity for product safety which is central to the role.

* Work with user researchers, collaborating on the design of research and able to respond to user research findings and how this will ensure successful delivery of this service.

* Develop prototypes (wire frames/coded prototypes/etc.) iteratively via user testing/research and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this service.

* Design accessible interfaces and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this service.

* Work closely with developers to make sure implementation of the service is consistent and accessible and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this service.

* Work with and design services that meet the GDS Digital Service Standard and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this service
