Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Content Designer for an initial 4 month period based in Edinburgh on a rate of £320-380/day (inside of IR35).

The Role:

The successful candidate will be an expert copy editor with a track record in content modelling, information architecture and user research.

The activities in this contract are interesting and varied: appraising and redeveloping promotional microsites, researching and developing a new information architecture for a key audience of the organisation's portal and optimising website search results for specific contexts.

All activities will involve working with our corporate publishing systems and style guides. You will be fully trained and briefed in this regard as part of your induction.

You'll be joining a friendly and expert team of user researchers, content designers and service managers who will support you in the successful delivery of your assignments.

Requirements:

* Experience working quickly and accurately to corporate style guides.

* Liaising with and influencing non-specialist business representatives to achieve user-focused outcomes that support business goals.

* Use of IA research and development techniques such as card sorting and tree testing.

* Undertaking website usability testing studies.

* Nuanced use of Google Analytics to support your understanding of user behaviour.

* Working with a range of web publishing platforms.
