Data Analyst - SQL - Cambridge - £30-40k

A fantastic company based in Cambridge is looking to recruit a Data Analyst who is experienced working with SQL Server and keen to develop their data visualisation skills.

The Company

An extremely interesting company who are focused on research into various chronic diseases and going through a period of expansion. You will be joining their growing data team and working directly with research teams. This company will give you the opportunity to work with SQL Server on a daily basis as well as focus on data visualisation technology such as Tableau. As this company are well-known in their field, they present an opportunity to develop your technical skills and be involved in world-class research.

The Role

No day will ever be the same in this position and you should expect varied tasks. Your responsibilities may depend on the project you are involved but will generally include:

- Generating data releases following study protocol requirements and service reports, using Tableau.

- Providing day-to-day support on population, reporting and database querying using SQL Server.

- Building data dictionaries and technical documentation.

- Undertaking quality checks and assuring data and code is of the highest standard.

- Advising team members and clients on database content.

- Maintaining compliance with company policy and information governance.

- Contributing to data analysis as required and presenting to a range of audiences from stakeholders to researchers.

Package

This role offers a generous salary of £30-40,000 depending upon experience as well as a respectable benefits package. There is also the option for flexible-working should that be required.
