Business Analyst - Nottingham - Financial Services - Competitive Salary + Excellent benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a new team within a globally recognised blue-chip organisation.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for undertaking business analysis and project/product management in line with key deliverables and commitments on the Customer Proposition Roadmap and wider strategic direction for product and content management frameworks.

The role:

* Act as a liaison on a day to day basis between the Proposition and technology teams and other key stakeholders in planning, directing and conducting the analysis of problems and requirements.

* Develop proposals and estimates that reflect understanding of business needs and relevant technology solutions.

* Ensure requirements are appropriately and efficiently identified, analysed and documented using industry standard analysis techniques.

* Work with project teams on a day to day basis to ensure successful delivery of projects / initiatives. Identify and track project risks and issues, escalating to senior stakeholders as appropriate.

* Develop requirements and user stories to a standard that facilitates effective and efficient development.

* Assist in the management and prioritisation of the product roadmap, backlog, release plans, and sprint backlogs. Convey business needs to the Scrum team.

* Provides day to day business leadership for the project / scrum team by understanding and executing the product goals and vision.

* Collaborates with the project / scrum team to prioritise, plan, and release working product increments.

* Formulate delivery plans including cost and/or resource estimating activities.

Required Skills:

* Experience in Business Analysis, Product / Project Management and delivering high value initiatives in a complex environment.

* Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects / products.

* Complex problem solving and requirement elicitation ability.

* Strong technical understanding of potential solutions and delivery methods in line with strategic objectives.

* Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

* High standards of written and verbal communication, including experience of presenting to senior stakeholders.

* Some knowledge of VEDaaS business or entity data would be an advantage
