Java Developer Role - Prague

Your Role

* Working with trading desk, finance and Operations to build high perform business critical risk analytic and trading tool

* Collaborating with risk/finance/Treasury and compliance personnel to gather and refine business requirements

* Accomplish technical assessments of requirements received, solution design and effort estimation

* Execute technical design and data modeling base on functional necessities

* Design and development of vital service orchestration layer to integrate caching technologies and Hadoop eco-systems

* Assess new technologies in the Market and conduct technical POC

* Build/test the approved design and creation of release notes for implementation into production in accordance with the Agile best practices

Your Desirable Skills

* Extensive experience with Java server side technologies including web technologies on Linux/Unix environments (JBOSS or Weblogic etc)

* In depth knowledge of Multi-threaded, high throughput, low-latency design of Java service components.

* Experience working with one of the industrial messaging technology platforms (Kafka, flume, Solace, TIBEMS, or MQ etc)

* Experience with Pl/Sql and Oracle or other commercial database.

Your Additional Skills

* Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark)

* Scala and Python

* Team City integration, Nolio and SonarQube

* Git/Stash/JIRA/Nexus for source and version control, Autosys for batch control

* Working with offshore teams
