Senior Linux Administrator/IT Lead

My well-established and rapidly expanding Client within the Semiconductor sector and based near Reading has an urgent requirement for a Senior Linux Administrator/IT Manager to lead a small IT support team currently existing of two engineers. The successful applicant would be expected to lead and mentor the team as well as providing hands on support.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience and may have been a part of a Linux group within a larger organisation. They would be expected to be an all-rounder and have the necessary experience to take on the technical responsibility for the implementation of the company's IT infrastructure which is very much based on Linux.

Primary skills required include Linux (RHEL, CentOS), Cyber Security, Data Security and Business continuity but any exposure to CAD, Storage, Networking and ISO Compliance would be highly beneficial. The role will also include some infrequent travel to the company's other offices in Oxford and Bristol.
