SC Secure Gateway Service Manager - London - 3-6 Month Contract

My client, one of the UK's largest telecoms providers is looking for a Secure Gateway Service Manager for a 3-6 month initial contract in London. The role can offer a competitive daily rate and the client are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Role Background:

* The successful candidate will be responsible for management and maintaining the integrity of secure gateway services including firewalls and web proxy to meet SLA's.

* There will be some on-call and rota work involved for the role and you will also need to chair service review meetings with various teams internally and externally.

* You will also be responsible for managing the secure gateway team as well as BAU work via ServiceNow.

* As part of the role you will need to keep a log of service/maintenance contracts and ensure they are renewed on time to avoid any service disruption.

Required Skills:

* Candidates should have an appreciation of Virtualisation (VMware Hyper-V), Windows Server Infrastructure, E-mail (content filtering), firewalling and Proxy Services.

* Prior Service Management experience in a secure environment is also essential for the successful candidate.

* Candidates should also hold one of or all of the below certifications:

* MCSA - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate

* MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

* CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate

* The client also requires a solid understanding of ITIL processes and ideally an ITIL Foundation certification.

* Candidates should also hold an active SC Clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process.
