Joining our client within their Bristol based Project Controls Office will offer you the opportunity to work on exciting and rewarding assignments across multiple sectors. It will enable you to develop the skills, knowledge and attributes that fit firmly within the project management skillset. As a Project Controller for our client you provide key elements of Project delivery, governance and controls. In this role, you will encounter a variety of technical, managerial and people challenges.

What you'll be doing

You will join our Project Controls Office, where you will be supported in learning the skills required to support, monitor and control projects throughout their full life cycle.

Core activities you will be involved in include:

* Supporting projects from start to finish, including the monitoring and reporting on: Risk, change, stakeholder, supplier and financial Management, Project planning, resourcing and technical assurance.

* Supporting the bid process.

Who we're looking for

Essential

* Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of colleagues;

* Strong Excel Skills;

* Ability to manipulate big data;

* Analytical skills.

Desirable

* Prior experience of working in a project environment;

* Problem solving enabling innovative solutions and insightful decision making and recommendations;

* Confidence working independently, using own initiative and enjoying working as part of a team;

* Ambitious, commercially aware and results focused with the drive to keep on learning.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
