Are you an experienced Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer looking for a challenging and autonomous position leading a team to achieve a world class volume manufacturing site?

The position is with a global manufacturing leader in the materials engineering sector, and this site has grown rapidly due to investment and increased demand for its products.

This role would suit an experienced and capable PI Engineer who is keen to lead a team and play a significant part in the success of the site.

The focus and purpose of this position will be to lead a team in mapping the manufacturing processes and then to identify and help run improvement projects.

Therefore tasks will include:

1 Lead a small team. Contributing to the site's drive toward volume manufacturing

2 Develop a technical understanding of existing processes and analyse them using mapping techniques

3 Identifying and deliver improvement projects, reporting on project progress to senior management team.

4 Involved in investigating customer queries and complaints including root cause analysis

To apply you should have:

1 Degree in Mechanical or manufacturing engineering

2 Working experience within manufacturing ideally focusing on process improvement work

3 A strong understanding of lean manufacturing, FMEA and root cause analysis

4 Ideally experience or aptitude to lead a team.

£40-46K plus bonus, life assurance, flexitime, pension, 25 days holiday
