PMO Lead under direction, to assist in setting up a Programme Management Office including all PMO Lead capabilities and standards. Required to ensure agreed Programme Management methods, standards and processes are followed and maintained throughout project lifecycle. PMO Lead to provide general support for Programme /Project Managers including the creation and maintenance of project documentation i.e. project plan, status reports, project logs (risk, issue, change), lessons learned.
Rate: £400.00 - 450.00 per day
Duration: 6 months
Location: Edinburgh
Essential Skills:
* 2 years Programme/Project Delivery
* 2 years Programme/Project Management Office
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
* Intermediate knowledge of PMO tools i.e. JIRA, Clarity, TSRM, Daptiv, Bugzilla
Essential Qualifications:
* MSP Foundation
* PMI-ACP
* Prince2 Practitioner/PMI-PMP Certification
Key Responsibilities:
* Programme/Project Management Governance
* Programme/Project Management Delivery
* In depth Full SDLC lifecycle
* ITIL Service Management
* Release Management
* Conduct project health checks and post-project reviews
* Manage senior business stakeholders' expectations and work with PMO Manager to ensure Programme PMO delivers to meet key requirements
* Resource manage direct reports within PMO (if applicable) and develop competencies, including training and mentoring for PMs
* Work with key stakeholders in shaping and implementing improvements to Programme PMO
* Manage assigned Programme budget (where required)
* General support tasks
* Good industry knowledge
