(SC) Automation Tester/Engineer

The chosen candidate will join a team of 4 Automation Engineers/Testers who will be required on a long term contract to assist with the build and test of the environment.

The following skills/experience will need to be demonstrated throughout the CV:

Automation Testing side:

Automating regression test sets

Experience with Behaviour driven test frameworks

Scripting skills in at least one scripting language

Programming skills are a plus

.NET

Java

Working with either:

Infrastructure deployment lifecycle

Software deployment lifecycle

Using Issue-tracking tooling

Jira

ALM

Bugzilla

Mantis

Automation Engineering side:

Experience in an automated deployment environment

Software/Infrastructure (we need both)

Automating deployment of:

Servers (Windows)

Servers (RedHat)

Software -web deployment

IIS

Apache

Jenkins

Ansible/puppet/chef

Powershell DSC

SCCM/SCVMM

Version control, software development lifecycle

Git

Bitbucket

Scripting skills across both Windows and Linux

Python

Powershell

Ksh/bash

Is comfortable working with QA team, understands importance of unit testing and integration.
