We're looking for a User Researcher to join our Customer Journey team. In this role you'll be working to better understand the problems people face in discrimination, and ensure that the advice we provide meets user needs and helps solve complex problems.

You'll work in agile teams with content designers, UX designers and developers to deliver content and services.

You'll have access to insights, data and internal expertise to help you

understand:

the help people need when dealing with discrimination

the best formats to meet their needs

people's emotions and state of mind

You'll need demonstrable experience carrying out a range of research methodologies which could come from a range of research backgrounds. An understanding of UX and prototyping skills is also useful.

We're interested in people that have had a breadth of research skills. We are looking for someone who can

apply research learnings and methodologies to content and advice products in a fast paced, iterative environment.

Citizens Advice work within an Agile environment with 2 week iterations which means that user research works with a quick turnaround here candidates need to have an appreciation of agile and its effect on how user research is undertaken and how collaboratively the team work together.

Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem. In 2017-18 we helped 2.6 million people face to face, over the phone, by email and webchat, and people visited our online advice pages 25 million times. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights. Now we want to do even.
