Role: Infrastructure Architect

Location: London

Contract: 6 Months +

Day rate: £500 -£550

The role:

Our leading client requires a Infrastructure Architect to research, architect, design and engineer the strategic infrastructure building blocks for a new global Hosting Infrastructure. They work closely with the Operational areas, Security and the vendor community. The role requires a business minded, highly collaborative, team-focussed individual with exceptional communication skills.

*Delivery of IT infrastructure strategies, reference architectures, product selection, product standards and design patterns

*Lead analysis of the current IT environment and recommend opportunities for improvement

*Maintain expertise on infrastructure technology developments and trends

*Participate in design review and approval process to ensure designs meet the project requirements, applicable risks are considered, and that strategies and standards are adhered to

*Drive migration of on premise applications into the AWS Cloud or next gen DC.

*Support the business in adopting processes and techniques to support an agile delivery model

*Develop and enhance the firms IT Infrastructure and end user platforms through the use of automation and cloud services

*Backup and Storage Platforms
