RESOURCE MANAGER

INITIALLY A 6 MONTH CONTRACT

BASED IN BRISTOL

DAILY RATE £300 - £400 PER DAY

Our client is looking for a Resource manager to work on an initial 6 month contract based in Bristol looking for someone who is SC or DV cleared.

Role description

When a Part A (ITT equiv) is received from the client , it is necessary to extract/develop a role description(s) for circulation to the supply chain. Once this has been circulated, it is important to proactively chase the suppliers for CVs and Part B (bid proposal) responses. A key performance measure of the framework used by the client is the response time for CV and bid submission. There are usually multiple bids in progress concurrently so strong organisational skills are essential as is a tenacious attitude to communicating with suppliers to encourage timely responses and adequate prioritising to support the programme. Once CVs are received, they need to be reviewed against the requirement (SQEP support provided) and filtered to ensure that only appropriate CVs are issued to client.

Role requirements:

*Able to understand the resourcing needs of ICT Design tasks (skills, grade, etc.) in the defence context

*Able to very proactively communicate the resource needs to our supply chain (associates and subcontractors) with regular follow ups

*Able to handle changes to requirements and timescales

*Plan and manage well for the anticipated volumes and resource types

*Act with minimal supervision
