Solution Architect - (Financial Services, Insurance, Reinsurance, Solution Architecture, Cloud - Azure, AWS, Microservices, Technical Architect, Lead Architect, Digital Transformation)

London - £90,000 - £105,000 + excellent benefits

My client, a global Re-insurance company are going through a global digital transformation and are looking to a recruit an experienced Solution Architect to design and implement IT solutions to meet business requirements in accordance with enterprise and technical architecture.

To be successful in this post, you will offer the following skills and experience:

* Strong project delivery background (idealseveral years of experience in systems integration / software development as a senior developer / architect and hence in-depth knowledge of the processes of the entire software development and product life cycle.

* Strong knowledge about clean coding, object-oriented development principles, patterns, UML and agile development practices as well as DevOps principles

* Deep technical knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture, cloud architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints. Common frameworks such as e.g. REST, struts, spring, hibernate, etc. and familiar Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)

* Track record of successful implementations that delivered value to the business, resulting in measurable business outcomes

* Willingness to travel internationally

* Experience with cloud platforms - Azure or AWS
