MEP Design Manager

Location: Central London

Salary: £65,000 - £73,000 basic plus package

The company:

An exciting opportunity for an MEP Design Manager to join a leading organisation who develop, build and maintain infrastructure projects. Our client, who have a global footprint in the construction space are seeking a Mechanically biased Design Manager to work on a £60M project.

Responsibilities:

* Review design information and comment in relation to technical compliance

* Liaise with estimating department members to ensure understanding of client's requirements and to review solutions

· Establish and manage the documentation and deliverables completion processes

· Production of a Contractor's Proposal document in liaison with other internal departments.

* Monitor external design consultant's performance

* Attend design and client meetings when necessary

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Be qualified to HNC/HND / hold a relevant degree

* 5+ years M&E Design Management experience

* Have experience within UK construction

* Experience in the following areas preferred but not essential; New Build, Renovation, Fit-out & Refurbishment

* Have some design experience from conception to completion of contracts

* Have awareness/knowledge of environmental issues i.e. BREEAM.

* Commercial awareness
