IT Data Analyst - Security / Technology compliance / Data analysis

Salary £250-375 (6 months with the possibility of extension)

Sutton, SM2

Requirements:

* Strong analytical skills & approach, decision-making and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of heterogeneous data schemas and the ability to integrate them

* Strong knowledge of Data Visualisation tools developing dashboards with dynamic reporting, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc, and Excel knowledge including pivot tables, data modelling.

* An understanding of Information Security as applied to security policy enforcement, networking, patch management, log analysis, vulnerability scanning would be an advantage but not essential.

The role:

* Work closely with subject matter experts to identify and capture data and interpret and translate it into business, application and operational requirements

* Develop tracking models and process for the capturing and reporting required information

* Regularly hold assessments with technology teams to collect and collate metric data

* Analyse data and report current status to teams and senior stakeholders

* Develop dashboards and visualisations for senior stakeholders on current risk profile of RBI Product Technology estate

The role focus is to put in place and run the processes and framework that measure and demonstrate the status of Product Technology security and compliance and its ongoing improvement. This will include:

* Security position and adherence to Security practices through the Product's development delivery and operation.

* Dev Ops maturity

* Asset health & quality (Asset means a substantive component of a product or supporting system)

* Ongoing view of compliance to current legislation (including but not solely GDPR, Privacy by Design)

* Operational metrics (ie availability, support issues, performance)
