This Senior Computer Vision Engineer vacancy is based in central London with an exciting early-stage start-up with a wealth of funding and a who's-who of VC's and Angel Investors, developing both the embedded software and hardware of new embedded deep learning tech. What my client is doing will allow robotic systems to use all this newly available deep learning technology in real-time and doing so much faster than currently possible.

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer you can't gain experience in the tech start-up world much better than you will here. You will be interacting closely with chip designers and deep learning engineers and your primary responsibilities will be in the full-cycle development of computer vision algorithms in Python/C++.

What is my client looking for in Senior Computer Vision Engineer? Minimum Masters in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning or similar and fitting either of the following two profiles;

1. 5+ years industry experience working on the productization of computer vision algorithms in Python and/or C++, likely to have lead projects in this space related to drones, small robotic systems or similar

2. PhD and minimum 2+ years post-doc research experience ready to transition into industry. Publications in top conferences and journals such as CVPR, NIPS, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, BMVC, TPAMI, TIP etc.

What will they offer you? An excellent salary for the best of the best but please note for the top end range you need to have all A*/A's at A-level (or equivalent), be educated with First Class/Distinction academics from either Russel Group or Universities globally recognised for Computer Vision excellence.
