VB.NET contract role - ASP.NET - SQL - South Coventry / Preston - 6 Months

My client are currently looking for a VB.NET contract developer to join their internal IT team to support the various bespoke live systems and ensure that systems and services are functioning correctly. Expected to be able to troubleshoot code and scripts written by others as well as being comfortable liaising with users to provide a point of contact for managing tasks allocated.

Key Skills:

* VB.net

* ASP.net

* SQL

* MS access

* Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON), XML and EDI applications

* Any Infor ERP knowledge would be beneficial

In this role excellent documentation skills are a must and be comfortable working with members of the business across all areas. Ability to understand the long?term "big picture" and short?term perspectives when working towards objectives. Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of code and applications. This could be a good long term contract for the right .NET contract developer.

This would mainly be in their South Coventry office but if needed some time could be spent In the Preston office.
