A Senior Firmware Engineer - DO254 is required by prestigious organisation in their Malvern offices. Due to consistent growth and increased workload, my client are looking to secure a Senior Firmware Engineer - DO254 to join their established team.

As the Senior Firmware Engineer - DO254 you will be working as part of a team of engineers and scientists from across the business were you will provide firmware design solutions that will be delivered into the next generation of multi-constellation, multi-frequency Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Receivers.

Essential Skills for the Senior Firmware Engineer - DO254:

* Eligible for SC clearance or hold SC clearance

* Hold a degree in electronics, electrical engineering or a related subject

* Skilled in designing and implementing complex firmware solutions in FPGA

* Direct experience working to DO254 standards

* Proven track record of the review of existing implementation to determine if this is sufficient to achieve DO254 DALC/B

Desirable experience for the Senior Firmware Engineer - DO254:

* Experience of , and/or security architectures relevant to receiver developments

* Experience of specifying, designing, verifying and testing ASICs

* Knowledge/experience and knowledge of crypto security design including crypto algorithms, anti-tamper technologies etc

* Knowledge of RF and radio signal performance/propagation issues.
