My global investment banking client is looking for an expert KDB Developer / Support Consultant, someone who can work on the Server migration and coordination with the 3.5 kdb+ upgrades.

Location - Belfast

Duration - 12 Months

Rate - £510pd

Responsibilities:

Migrating the first suite of services onto the new hardware. Currently providing L3 support requiring KDB expertise 2 days per week. KDB underpins many upstream systems with data services and production kdb+ is a column-based relational time series database with in-memory abilities, developed and marketed by Kx Systems. The database is commonly used in high-frequency trading to store, analyze, process, and retrieve large data sets at high speed. kdb+ has the ability to handle billions of records and analyzes

K is a proprietary array processing programming language The language serves as the foundation for kdb+
