We currently require the services of a Java Developer with Big Data Experience to work for a well respected client based in Glasgow.Contract Length - 3 Months

Key skills required:
Core JAVA, Web Services, SPRING Framework (must have Spring Boot), Oracle SQL with Performance knowledge.Proven Data Processing skillset with experience in HDP tools and techniques. For example (not exhaustive):Kafka Real time messagingSparkHBase modelling and developmentSpark processing and performance tuningHDFS file formats partitioning for eg; Parquet, Avro etc;Impala/HiveUnix Shell ScriptingProficiency in ScalaWorking proficiency in developmental toolsets like Eclipse, IntelliJExposure/competence with Agile Development approachSolid experience utilizing Source code control software (e.g. GIT, Subversion)Multi-threaded ProgrammingJenkins/MavenFindBugs, Sonar, JUNIT, Performance, Memory ManagementExcellent commutation skillGood understand of software development life cycleExperience in delivering Data Solutions using Big-Data technologies and cloud platforms.
