Urgent Vacancy for a skilled Lead Developer - up to R 70 000

My client, based close to Century City, is a leading software development house that offers custom solutions using an array of cutting edge technologies.

They are a proud Microsoft Gold Partner and looking for a lead developer to manage the team and lead the IT department.

You will be required to:

* Design and implement software solutions based on software requirement specifications

* Test own software implementation and that of others team members against requirements

* Support system ramp-up and go-live on-site (when required)

* Create small scale requirement analysis and software specifications for area of responsibility

* Create software documentation for own software implementation and that of others (when required)

* Take over responsibility for a specific area of software development within a project

* Actively communicates with team members, stakeholders and 3rd party resources when running a project or resolving an issue

* Oversee Quality Assurance

* Troubleshoot system issues in 1st, 2nd or 3rd level depending on project requirements

* Mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members

Skills required:

* Good technical background of multiple Web Technologies including PHP, .Net, javascript languages.

* Hands on experience in Software development/Coding

* Solid understanding of SQL

* Passionate about coding and taking up challenges

* Excellent communication skills

* Focused on delivering what needs to be done

* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
